Hamachi LAN[edit]
You can setup a Hamachi LAN which allows people in your Hamachi network to connect to your LAN server via Hamachi connection.
Setup[edit]
Dead Rising 2 Multiplayer Gameplay
- Install Hamachi. You want the Unmanaged version, which is free.
- Create a VPN tunnel in Hamachi. (Network>Create a new network...) Sometimes, you will need an LogMeIn account but is often not needed.
- Get your friends to join your Hamachi network. (Network>Join an existing network...)
Host[edit]
- Open a single player Minecraft world
- Hit Escape and Select the Open to LAN button
- Set the options and open the LAN network
- Distribute the 5 digit port number that will appear in the chat window to the other players; this can be done over Hamachi's chat window or another chat method.(#####)
Other Players[edit]
- Go to 'Multiplayer' on the main menu and either click 'Add a server' or 'Direct connect'.
- Copy the host's IPv4 address (Click on their name in Hamachi and click 'Copy IPv4 Address')
- Paste the IP in to the server address box along with the 5 digit port number distributed by the host (#####). You should now have something like ##.###.##.###:##### as your IP. (If there are any letters in the IP, you have the IPv6 address. Copy the IPv4 address instead.)
- Join the server.
Limitations:[edit]
- Up to 5 free players
- Have some problems with connection via 3G or 4G USB modem
Tutorial:[edit]
Alternatives:[edit]
LAN bug (fixed)[edit]
Note: this bug has since been fixed. If you are experiencing this bug, follow the steps listed.[edit]
In version 1.13.2 there has been a bug which causes your LAN IP to be incorrectly displayed and would look something like this:
LAN shown here in this screenshot of Minecraft 1.5.2 - The text in the chat says 'Local game hosted on 0.0.0.0:56646'
0.0.0.0:#####
The port number is technically correct, however the '0.0.0.0' part is incorrect.
In Hamachi, right click the big number near the top of the window and copy it. That is your Hamachi IPv4 Address (##.###.##.###)
Now, paste that in with the five-digit port number shown in Minecraft.
You should now have your game's IP: ##.###.##.###:#####.

For the last few weeks I have not been able to access classic google on firefox. Setting my homepage to http://www.google.com results in a '404 Not Found' page with 'nginx' at the bottom. When I attempted to google the issue (using Google SSL) through firefox, certain links would redirect me to the Google SSL homepage. When using internet explorer 64 bit, I can access google, but I am often redirected to Google in a random language. I have uninstalled firefox and all addons multiple times but it has had no effect. I've downloaded Antimalware bytes, avast, and AVG which resulted in the removal of some viruses, but I can only assume not all. I've been following this guide thusfar http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html . When I installed gmer, I wasn't able to deselect certain options, as most were grayed out, but I still scanned my computer and uploaded the log. 'g.png' that I've uploaded shows what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Attached Files
